Course description: This course operates on three levels of inquiry and exploration. In the most detailed sense, we look at several major History of Technology themes, such as Technological Systems, Technology and Culture, and Technology and the Environment. We address larger historical questions, such as the interpretation of evidence and the combination of analysis and narrative. Finally, we conduct writing, presentation, creativity, and analysis exercises that contribute to competencies such as communica-tion and contextual understanding.
